Engineered with an EVA midsole for plush, all-day cushioning, this workplace warrior has been updated with water-resistant leather and a slip-resistant outsole.
Full Grain Leather Upper
The Hoka Bondi SR Running Shoes feature a water-resistant, full grain leather upper. This durable upper repels water to keep your feet dry and comfortable, whilst still allowing breathability. It provides a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility. A padded memory foam collar provides a comfortable and locked in fit, giving support and stability to the rear foot without restriction to the Achilles or ankle. A soft lining wrap on the tongue enhances comfort, whilst an additional internal heel counter provides a secure, locked-in fit that reduces in shoe slippage. The traditional lace closure secures the mid-foot working together for a distraction-ride.
EVA Midsole
Early-stage Meta-Rocker geometry is applied in the midsole to increase running efficiency. Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe off. A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. A moderate heel bevel helps to promote a smooth heel-to-toe transition; it enhances ground contact and unites with flat-waisted geometry to stabilise and support every stride.
Slip Resistant Outsole
Boasting a proprietary outsole compound tested against industry standards, the Bondi SR features an ultra-grippy, full ground contact rubber that stands up to the demands of the service industry and medical field alike. It has been tested on surfaces with water, oil and soap for slip resistance, so you can be assured enhanced traction. The rubber outsole reduces weight without compromising durability, with high abrasion rubber zones located on the toe and heel to prevent wear and tear. A beveled heel design encourages a smooth transition and further increases durability so every performance is your best performance.
