Pre-Launch

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates

Cancelled / Refunded Orders Prior to Despatch

Occassionally our site will state that a particular item is in stock & avaible for despatch, when in fact it isnt. This is a unfortunate feature of our ecommerce system & the way our supplier SIM's operate and is beyond our control. As a result your order may be cancelled without prior notice if a solution cannot be found in good time. When this happens we will endevour to issue you a full refund as quickly as possible. Please check your emails for notifications on the status of your order. We will accept no responsibilty for emails dropping into spam folders or going un-noticed.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If for any reason the product you ordered is incorrect or damaged then naturally we would be happy to replace the product or refund you in full. Please notify us via email or phone of any damages / incorrect products within 7 days of your delivery. Proof of damage will be required.

Returning Products

Should you need to return any products to us then you will be responsible for the cost of the postage. A returns form can be downloaded usling the link below. Once completed please include it in the returning package. On receiving the products we will carry out an inspection and should we find that it was in anyway our fault or the product was faulty then we will happily refund you the cost of the postage. Naturally should we believe it not to be our fault then we may choose not to refund any postage and may choose to claim costs of packaging for returning the products to yourself.

The product will be inspected against “reason for return” before any refund or replacement is posted out / made. Please note that will we only pay collection fees on warranty items unless agreed otherwise. Please ensure receipts are forwarded to us with the return where possible. You are responsible for the product until it is recieved by us. Please ensure that any returns are packed correctly to avoid any damage during transport as this may effect your refunded amount.

29 Wheels

Improved roll-over is the most noticeable attribute  when it comes to 29” wheels. The big wheels are great for rolling over nasty roots and rocky sections, essentially making it easier to ride these conditions. Improved traction is also a key factor with the increased wheel diameter compared to 27.5” wheels as tire contact to the ground is larger.

• Best Roll-Over Performance
• Carries Momentum
• Maximum Traction surface
• Best stability on easy trails
• Lowest suspension stress
• Great for larger frame sizes
• Increase stability on long curve

Asymmetric Design

The Spark down tube shock and linkage are clearly asymmetric, when looking from the top of the bike. Carbon fibres achieve their full potential when used in smooth straight lines. Off setting the shock slightly to the left hand side of the bike gives a clean and continuous structure from the down tube through the shock mount to the main pivot.

Boost Technolgy

Boost is a hub and drivetrain standard developed by SRAM. Boost is built around a wider rear and front hub and enables stiffer wheels due to a wider spoke bracing angle. Boost 148 rear hubs move each flange of the rear hub three millimeters wider.

Boost is designed as a complete system so drivetrain performance isn’t compromised. Even though Boost pushes the cogs three millimeters outboard, the crankarm Q-Factor remains the same as the Boost system’s crankset utilizes front chainrings that sit a corresponding 3mm outward to ensure the required chainline. Boost cranks can onlybe used when paired with a 148mm hub. On the front the hub spacing is increased by 10mm to 110mm. Increased wheel stiffness and greater clearance for bigger tires are the main advantages of Boost technology. On our bikes, we wanted to go beyond the basics and reap all the benefits of this innovation by optimizing frame design and geometry. The 3 mm outboard chain ring adds clearance in the chain stay area that allows a substantial increase of the chain stay tube cross-section. Correspondingly, the stiffness in this part of the frame improves. Also, with a wider range of positions for the rear wheel, the frame geometry can be adjusted. We can shorten the chainstays for more agile handling.

Rocker Link

The Spark carbon linkage is constructed with a compression moulding process. It’s 37g lighter than the aluminium equivalent and half the weight of the previous Spark linkage. Making the link in two pieces means all excess material can be removed from the inside of the linkage, without sacrificing stiffness.

Twinloc Suspension System

With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters.

TwinLoc helps manage the sag effect in several ways. Whereas most systems only increase low-speed compression in an effort to gain pedaling efficiency, TwinLoc allows us to not only change compression damping, but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is not only firmer, but it has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher, maintains a steep seat angle for those climbs, and becomes more agile. We also offer a third, full lockout mode for going up in the most efficient manner possible.

These unique settings optimize climbing geometry, even on longer travel bikes. We can eliminate the "long travel effect" that can rob your pedaling efficiency, but we're not robbing you of the full-fun, 150mm travel when you point it downhill. From a race setting, to a lunch ride, to an after work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trails profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.

ICCR Cable Routing

On the Scale, Spark and Genius, to provide a clean look and a functional solution for all the different control cable standards on the market, cable routing is fully internal and designed for full length cable housing. Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.

Full Suspension bikes have changed so much over the last few years. Travel has got biger / longer. Lockouts are available on most bikes and even some bikes have on board computers controlling what the suspension does.

So what do you go for? Well If you believe the press then you need at least 150mm travel if you do anymore than drop off a curb. In reality that's complete rubbish. So here's our attempt to help make things a little clearer for you

XC Bike - Normaly 100 / 120mm travel bike will be sufficient for a XC bike. You will want to consider what lockout the front and rear shock has fitted so you can lock the suspension to improve climbing speed

Trail Bike - 130mm to 150mm travel bike suitable for most trail centers around the UK including Cannock Chase. Consider that all trail centers contain a reasonable amount of climbing so again you may want to consider the lockout system so you can get up the climbs without bobing around too much whilst you get full use of the travel when you come down the other-side.

Enduro Bike - 150mm to 170mm travel bike. If you like taking air where possible, hitting rock gardens flat out and take in the odd downhill track then these bike would be best for you. Make sure you consider that most of the bikes in this category are predominately design to go down so weight will increase as will the bikes ride quality on anything flat and up hill
