We kick things off with the Winter Classic in February. A traditional start to the new race session and a chance for the Mountain Bikers to get a head start on the runners.
We’re then on to the Dirty Dozen Trail run on April. An undulating 12km across Cannock Chase taking in some of the toughest trails Cannock has to offer. This is a challenge for any runner and will certainly test the biker / turned runner to the max.
We then move back to the mountain bike for the Summer Classic in June. Same format to the Winter Event but all being well, better weather
The final event in the series will be the Dirty Duathlon in October. An event where runners can take the advantage from the start only for mountain bikers to come back at them and then finally settle the event with a final run.
Points will be given in the following categories
U16’s
Fun
Enthusiast
We are sorry but we are only able to offer the series points on the above categories. We may review and expand the range for 2018
- Competitors will have to race in the same category for each event.
- Points will be awarded on the riders finishing position in each event. All 4 rounds will count towards the final series position.
- Runners will be given points for the Dirty Dozen based on overall finishing position
*Please note all of these are also stand alone events and can be entered on an individual basis separate from the series.
